Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Mahotsav is one of the biggest initiatives of Tarangini Sanskritik Pratishthan. It is one of the most prestigious music events in the cultural calendar of India. It is a tribute to the legend, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki who bestowed his life for the promotion of Indian classical music. It is conceived as a platform to promote and popularise Indian classical music. It is a musical celebration which has access to over several globally renowned artists who come and pay their musical tribute in this festival.

 

Various legendary artists such as Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jasraj, Dr. Prabha Atre, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, Vidushi Malini Rajurkar, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt. Rajan and Pt. Sajan Mishra, Pt. Suresh Talwalkar, Pt. Venkatesh Kumar, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, Anup Jalota, Ustaad Taufiq Qureshi, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, Roop Kumar Rathod & Pt. Shekhar Sen, etc have payed their musical tributes in this festival. This Mahotsav is free of cost for the audiences and one of the most unique festivals in India where along with classical music, Semi Classical, devotional music, Instrumentals ,Fusions, Music Dramas, Sufi music etc are featured in the mahotsav.
