About the event
The festival is organized to celebrate the contribution of Padmashree Pt. Jitendra Abhishekhi to the field of Indian classical music. Entry to the festival is free for all on a first come first served basis.
The three-day festival being organized by Tarangini Sanskritik Pratishthan and Apla Parisar will be inaugurated by Renowned Scientist Dr Raghunath Mashelkar in the presence of Murlidhar Mohol, former Mayor of Pune City on Friday 29th March at 5:30pm. The timing of the sessions on 2nd and 3rd day would be 9:00am to 1:00pm and 5:30pm to 10:00pm.
Post the inauguration, day one of the Mahotsav will witness ‘Swarabhishek’ featuring compositions composed and sung by Padmashree Pt. Jitendra Abhishekhi.
